To upload your photos or videos with the Picasa Web Albums Uploader, follow these steps:
- Open the Picasa Web Albums Uploader.
- When prompted to sign in, enter your username and password for Picasa Web Albums.
- To upload to a new Picasa Web album, click New Album and enter an album name and description. To upload to an existing album, click Existing Album and choose an album from the menu.
- Select the photos or videos you'd like to upload. To select files, use one of these options:
- Click the + (plus sign) on the screen to have the Uploader search for a recently-changed photo or video
- Choose File > Add File... to manually select a file from your hard drive
- Drag photos, videos or entire folders to the area marked Drag Photos and Videos Here
- Drag your photos from iPhoto into the uploader
- Click Upload to send your photos to Picasa Web Albums.
Here are some shortcuts you can use when managing your photos or videos with the Mac Uploader:
- To remove photos from the list, select photos and click the minus sign on the screen, or press Delete on your keyboard.
- To select and deselect multiple photos in the list, hold the Shift key while clicking to extend the selection, and the Command key to select multiple photos.
- To go directly to your Picasa Web Albums, click the icon in the lower-left corner.
- Click 'Show Files' to display the selected photos.
