Email notifications alert you to social activity in Picasa Web Albums. This could be people sharing photos with you, adding you as a 'Favorite,' or posting new comments to your photos. You can control the frequency and type of notifications that you receive:
- Sign in to your account at http://picasaweb.google.com/
- Click on the Settings link in the top right corner.
- On the Email Notifiation tab, adjust your preferences:
- Email digest: A single daily digest which includes new photos uploaded by your 'Favorites' and other Picasa Web Albums events. Turn them off by selecting 'Never send a digest.'
- Instant notifications: Choose to receive instant email notifications when:
- 'New comments are posted' - On your photos or on a thread to which you've subscribed. Learn more about comment thread subscriptions.
- 'Someone adds me as a favorite.' - See instantly when someone adds you as a Favorite.
Disabling instant notifications will combine these updates into the daily digest.
- Click the Save Changes button.
