By adding friends to your Favorites list, you'll receive updates when they add new content to their public galleries. Below are instructions on how to add, edit or remove Favorites.
Add Favorites:
Click Add to Favorites anywhere you see a user's profile photo and nickname: On their public gallery, on a comment they've left, or on the Suggested Favorites page. The Suggested Favorites page allows you to Add to Favorites your Google Account contacts that use Picasa Web Albums. To find your suggested favorites, click the Favorites or People tab, and the click the Suggested Favorites link.
When one of your Favorites adds new public content, you'll be notified in the Picasa Web Albums email digest. You can view a list of your Favorites and their activity at any time in your account.
Edit or Remove Favorites:
- In Picasa Web Albums, click on the Favorites or People tab. The tab available depends on if you have name tags enabled.
- Click on the Favorites link in the upper-left corner
- On the next screen, select the List option in the upper-right corner.
- Edit or remove your Favorites using these options:
- 'Receive updates': Receive email notifications for each Favorite's activity.
- 'Show link on my gallery': Include a link to the Favorite's public gallery from your own.
- 'Remove user': Remove the user as a Favorite. This will also remove you from their Fans of Your Photos page.
